UPDATE 14th May 2012
You all have been following Jamie's story for the last few days, and how on Sunday we found her mom Emma who was looking for her. Emma visited Jamie today and Jamie recognised her and purred. Emma has asked us to put the donations for the Jamie Fund into the Hesky fund, which we will gladly do. The story does not end here, we will keep letting you know how our little lady is getting on with a daily report. Having Emma now back in her life and Leanne, Katherine and Darina nursing her back to health, she will soon be on the road to recovery. And her special angel James called to see her today as well so she is one lucky girl.

For those following Jamie's story, we are setting up an appeal to help with her bills. She was operated on last night and came through a 2.5 hour operation. Her eye had to be removed, her lower jaw was re set and was her upper jaw where the pallet had split. She will be tube fed for a few days until her mouth settles and then will be in soft food. She will go directly to a foster home from the vets. Spoke to Darina in Barna this morning, she is on the road to recovery and while still on heavy meds, is in good form. We would like to say a big thank you to James who saw her, stopped and got her to the vets, his actions saved her light as her vet Leanne said the wounds and breaks were fresh and workable. We are so grateful to him as others passed and looked the other way. Thanks Leanne for doing all you did for her, she will thank you with a head rub in a few weeks. If you can donate anything at all, we would be delighted, we have had a few costly ones in the last few months and money is tight.
Thanks again for helping us.
