CLIFF

Hi,

As you've asked, please see attached some pictures of/with Cliff. They are not attached in any particular order, but you can see dates they were taken on each picture. Just a few words on this lovely and mischievous cat: we got him as a gift for our 6-year-old daughter Kaya. We were expecting birth of twin boys at the time and really wanted her to have someone to cuddle and hug when we are too busy with the babies. As it turned out, Cliff has always been fantastic with kids, Kaya and all her friends got to love him straight away. We were a bit concerned he will grow out of his patience and friendly attitude, but it didn't happen! He is over a year now and lets the boys (11 months now) pull his ears and tail sometimes, try to pat him and basically do whatever they want. He never hisses or scratches. It's a great difference compared to our 7-years-old cat - she's been very friendly as a kitten but then became quite hostile towards kids of all sorts. Them two are not best of friends, but he definitely made her more active and less scared of everything outside the house. Before Cliff joined our family, she would not go further than a meter from the house. With Cliff they go out and disappear for hours. She even manages to catch a butterfly now :-) Cliff is also a great hunter, but we managed to kindly teach him not to bring his prey home...For us, the most fantastic thing about Cliff is that he enjoys outdoors a lot and happens to disappear for even a few days, but he always comes back when Kaya calls him and at home he is still like a little cuddly kitten, scrambled at her lap and purring like he never went out. I hope he enjoys being a part of our family here in Gortbeg. He has all the love and care we can give him, and Kaya just adores him. He became the best pet she could ever have - loving her with all his little heart and in an uncompromising way, but also teaching her to respect his independence and desire of freedom.

Please let me know if you need any more information form me, I will be happy to assist. And thanks for all the great work and care you do for all the poor lonely creatures.
