Hi all,

Here are some pics of Ellie in the first hour in her new home. These are two of three abandoned kittens who were staying with me temporarily and persecuted Ellie for a day! She was so good with them. They're now in a temporary home until July, when they go to a home together.

Ellie is an absolute little star. She has had an awful lot happening in the last few days, visiting friends and relations and meeting new dogs. Everyone loves her. She sits by the car a lot, and often sits in it while I am in the garden. I thought this was her adventurous spirit waiting for another outing, but sadly I think it is because she is afraid I'll go off in the car and leave her, as her previous owners had to do when they left her with you. It's hard to understand how somebody could give her up, she's such a pet and so ready to cooperate - and she's good fun too.

I'm taking her to the vet next week just to check on her age etc, in case I am overexercising her. The only slight problem so far is that she is quite a fussy eater, and I wonder if you know what she might eat happily. She had a scrambled egg on toast this morning...! But I'd love to get a dry food she'd eat. She's not interested in Pedigree Chum complete.
