Update on Milly who became part of our family in Jan 09.

It all started in January on a really cold foggy day when we arrived at Heathlawn. It was two days before the Christmas holidays ended and we decided it was time to add to the family. So we all headed for Heathlawn and went around to see all the dogs. Coming to the last few my daughter said she wanted to go back to a dog that had caught her eye, and that dog was Milly. We brought Milly for a short walk but she was more interested in going back for her dinner. We decided she was the one and when I picked her up a few days later she was not in favour of getting in the car.

She was very nervous and we had to keep her reassured. But from once she came into the house that was it, she was really and truly at home. She loves her bed in the kitchen and has another bed in my daughters room for night time. She is just the baby of the house, she has so much love to give and is so gentle. Everyone that has met Milly loves her. Now she loves her car journeys and is watching when I get out the car keys. She follows my every step around the house, so I am never lonely.She's a true Gem, we love her to bits and couldn’t wish for a better dog.
